Nancy MacNeil, Real Estate Consultant

I was born and raised in Cape Breton with a strong sense of community and family values. I love Nova Scotia for its beauty and the heart and soul of the people. Over the past 25 years, I have lived and worked around the country, returning home to my roots to work in Real Estate.

I studied environmental technology at the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology, and specialized in water resources. I worked with people in their homes to provide assessments and consultation, to help them improve their household energy and water efficiency. After taking some time away to raise my children, I began a career with the Department of National Defence. For 20 years, I worked in the field of IT in many roles, working closely with the Canadian military and civilian clients across the country and internationally. My spare time was spent volunteering, and designing and teaching IT courses for the community.

My family has always been involved in designing, building, and selling houses. My siblings and I grew up in a house built by my father, who was a carpenter by trade. I've always had a love and fascination for home design and architecture, so it came as no surprise that I was drawn to Real Estate as well.

I absolutely love spending my free time in nature! Here in Nova Scotia, there are so many rivers, lakes, beaches and hiking trails to enjoy, and I make the most of it all. When I'm feeling creative, there is nothing quite as inspiring for painting and photography as being surrounded by natural beauty.

I’m excited to connect and help you with your real estate journey today, whether you’re a first time buyer, looking to downsize, or searching for your dream home!
