3-2128 Brunswick Street

How cool is this??  A converted church means you get 20ft vaulted ceilings and an awesome exposed brick feature wall that'll have all your guests saying wow!  This loft style one bedroom condo is bursting with character and offers two bathrooms, a beautiful sun room and lots of space.  If you are looking for a condo that's unlike any other, add this one to your list.

Pros:  Character, uniqueness.
Cons: Parking is an optional extra.

2749 Oxford Street

Prime location and tastefully updated.  This home offers the perfect for a first time home buyer to get into the market.  Often times, all the money gets spent upfront on the down payment with little left over for renovations.  In this case, there's almost nothing left to do but move in and unpack.  Flexible spaces to suit and a lovely back yard as well!

Pros:  Move in ready, prime location.
Cons:  Older appliances, layout might not suit young families.

2625 Dublin Street

Personally, I quite like the green paint they've chosen for the main level.  That's not the reason we've included it this week though. Numerous upgrades and craftsman character make this a great option for someone seeking something with a bit of flair.  From the country style kitchen to the stand alone tub, everything seems to pull together wonderfully.

Pros: Location, craftsman style and flair.
Cons:  Might not be quite big enough for some.

1147 Belmont on the Arm - HaliPad Pick of the week

Here's an opportunity to get onto an executive street without paying the exorbitant amount often associated with Belmont on the Arm.  Yes, this home needs some cosmetic work.  However, the money you are likely to get back from your investment is magnified because of the other homes on the street.  It's often said you should not buy the castle on the block.  This home needs some imagination for it to reach it's potential, but that potential is exactly the reason you need to consider this home.

Pros: Location, expensive neighbours help your value.
Cons: You'll need to put in some sweat equity!

1667 Beech Street

Tupper school district and steps from Waegwoltic Club and Conrose Park.  This home has been extensively updated including things you can't see like electrical and insulation.  As for the things you can see, you'll find a beautiful renovated kitchen, baths and fireplace hearth.  A sprawling layout with various spaces to suit and a nice back yard as well!

Pros:  Tupper school district, very walk-able location.
Cons:  Basement ceilings are a bit low, but that's expected in this age of home.
