2086 Brunswick Street
A unique stacked townhouse on the upper level. If you don't quite like the feeling of apartment style condos, this is a fantastic alternative. The lower level townhouses have a main level and a basement which hold the bedrooms. This is a more desirable layout as it's located in the upper section, meaning you have a conventional layout with bedrooms upstairs. Condo fees are reasonable and it has it's own parking as well.
Pros: Neat as a pin, move in ready.
Cons: Galley kitchen won't suit everyone.
3269 Kaye Street - HaliPad Pick of the week
Perched on Devonshire Ave in the North End, this location offers easy access to Barrington Street to get downtown or off the Peninsula. Completely renovated and showcasing a wicked deck, this is the perfect pad to entertain your guests. Pot lighting, a modern and contemporary kitchen, open concept and five bedrooms make this a fantastic place to call home.
Pros: Completely renovated, great deck.
Cons: Struggling to think of any!
2099 Beech Street
Speaking of outstanding renovations, here's another! This home offers a little less space than Kaye and doesn't come with a garage. However, it's more centrally located, only a few blocks from the Halifax Commons. The main level offers an open concept plus the added bonus of a den/office space. Upstairs, you'll find convenient second floor laundry, three bedrooms and a couple of stunning bathrooms!
Pros: Beautifully renovated, well appointed bathrooms.
Cons: Parking is a little limited.
834 Marlborough Ave
This home needs of a bit of a face-lift, but offers a pretty fantastic location. At the end of a dead end street in the South End of Halifax, increase your value with some sweat equity and imagination. A west facing backyard means you get lots of sun and the addition on the back could do with a few more windows to take advantage of that. The square footage is a bit limiting and probably means you won't have an ensuite bathroom, but work within your means and you could certainly create something cozy, yet contemporary.
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Needs work, new house next door is quite big and looms over the property.
1119 Rockliffe Street
Welcome to Rockcliffe Street, an executive South End location for the discerning buyer. Living up to the standards set by the location, this home has an extensive list of features that deserves a blog post of it's own. You'll find a calacatta marble island, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, luxurious ensuite including a steam shower, a third floor with 10 foot ceilings and private balcony and a lower level with a potential guest suite. Simply stunning!
Pros: Top of the line finishing, great views, privacy.
Cons: Limited buyer pool.
