Located on the waters edge, this very cool building was originally storage for schooner rigging and there was a fish store (no longer there) next too it. After many years it was transformed into a gallery by Artists Don and Louise Pentz, then most recently a boathouse. From this property, beautiful views up and down the LaHave River ,not too far from where the LaHave River meets the Atlantic Ocean can be enjoyed. Inside this two storey boathouse is bright, solid and is funky and fun with a large bar and a little modern twist with a glass garage door to capture the best water views from inside that opens onto the wrap around , waterside deck. Located minutes from the LaHave Ferry, the LaHave Bakery, some wonderful beaches such as Crescent, Green Bay, Rissers just to name a few. Located on a quiet side road (Pentz Rd) this little boathouse would be a great getaway for overnight stays or just to sit and have a glass of wine in the evenings or a great addition to your nearby home for easy water access. There are remnants of an old schooner wharf that once existed, it comes with an approved transferable permit to construct a new wharf. There are also two mooring balls in deep water that come with it. There is a parking area for at least a couple cars on the property.
